Happy University Day!

Dear teachers, students, graduate students, doctoral candidates, employees, veterans and graduates of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian (Carpathian) National University!

Today, May 14, we celebrate a special anniversary date – the 85th anniversary of the founding of our university. And at the same time – we honor the birthday of Vasyl Stefanyk, an outstanding Ukrainian writer and public figure, after whom our educational institution is proudly named.

85 years is not just a number. It is the history of generations, the journey of thousands of graduates, the achievements of scientists and teachers, and years of hard work, formation, and development.

Today, our university is a powerful center of education, science, and culture, known far beyond the borders of Ukraine. This is a place where ideas are born, the future is shaped, and everyone has a chance to realize themselves. On this day, we gratefully remember those who stood at the origins of the university, who developed it in difficult times, who shaped its face. We are proud of our graduates who have become leaders in their fields, and we thank everyone who today creates the modern history of our Alma Mater every day.

The 85th anniversary is not only a festive event, but also a symbol of our resilience, unity, and faith in the future. And today, more than ever, we understand the value of education, freedom, and human dignity. We especially want to express our gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to which we have the opportunity to work, study, and celebrate such days.

Dear friends! May our university continue to be a source of knowledge and light, a place where great ideas and human destinies are born. We wish the entire university community — teachers, students, staff, and graduates — good health, inexhaustible inspiration, new achievements, and Victory!

Happy anniversary, dear University! Happy holiday, dear colleagues and friends!
