The State Education Quality Service of Ukraine has determined the risk levels of business entities in the field of higher education.
Among 262 higher education institutions (HEIs), 20 (7%) are high-risk entities, 180 (69%) are medium-risk entities, and 62 (24%) are low-risk entities.
According to the results of this study, Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University received a score of 20 — “minor risk.”
This indicates the stable, transparent and effective activities of the university, compliance with legislative requirements and a high level of management processes.
Carpathian University is among 62 universities out of 262 in Ukraine that have the same “minor risk” indicator.
The degree of risk was determined based on seven criteria, including:
• the status of publication on the official website of the HEI of documents, materials and information specified by law;
• share of accredited educational programs;
• the number of higher education applicants over the last three years;
• the number of scientific and pedagogical employees employed at their main place of work;
• the presence of separate structural divisions;
• the presence of foreign higher education applicants;
• the number of violations of legislative requirements in the field of higher education identified as a result of state supervision (control) measures.
Higher education institutions enter indicators into the EDEBO for only two of the seven criteria — the status of information disclosure and the share of accredited educational programs, while the remaining indicators are generated automatically based on data entered by the institution into the EDEBO or determined by authorized employees of the Service.
