Representatives of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University organized an annual charity event for St. Nicholas Day.
We sincerely thank everyone who joined the charitable initiative and became a ray of light for orphans and children with musculoskeletal disorders. Thanks to the joint efforts of the university community, we managed to collect 75,126 UAH, which were directed to support and joy for children who especially need care and attention.
We express our deep gratitude to the students and teachers – for their humanity, active civic position and unity in good deeds; to the graduates – for their loyalty to the faculty and the memory of their hearts; to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and veterans – people of honor, dignity and great souls who protect our light even in the darkest times.
Thanks to the funds raised, educational and developmental materials were purchased for children with special educational needs: notebooks, pencils, books, educational games, construction sets, wooden puzzles, Montessori blocks, balls, paints, modeling clay, drawing albums, and other necessary tools for learning and creative development.
Individual gifts were prepared for the orphans — toys, construction sets, cars, educational games, art kits, and sweets. Each of them became a small dream come true, wrapped in sincere care.
In addition to gifts, we managed to provide important household needs: kitchenware sets, a BOSCH BWD41740 washing vacuum cleaner, an EKRAN Jal bactericidal irradiator, hygiene products and household chemicals. The children also received clothes and shoes – jackets, overalls, sweaters, T-shirts, shirts, dresses, hats, shoes, underwear and many other necessary things that warm not only the body, but also the heart. The festive atmosphere was complemented by sweets and tangerines.
We express special gratitude to the students of the amateur art program of our faculty and the author of the script Tamara Halytska-Didukh for the Christmas fairy tale presented to the children. The sincere children’s laughter and warm applause were the best reward and a real Christmas miracle. They presented the children with not just a performance – they presented joy, warmth and faith in a miracle.
