The Believe in Yourself Charitable Foundation, in partnership with our university, is announcing a competition for 5 scholarships worth $3,200 per year for STEM students who are children of active duty military personnel, veterans, deceased, missing, or prisoners of war. The scholarship will help cover the costs of housing, tuition, books, clubs, and other important needs so that students can focus on their education and development.
Selection stages:
• Submitting an application form, motivation letter, essay, and required documents.
• Review of applications by the committee. • Successful candidates will be invited to an online interview.
• Announcement of results.
Who can apply?
Students in their 2nd-4th year of undergraduate studies who:
• are children of active military personnel, veterans, deceased, missing, or prisoners of war;
• are studying STEM majors (for example: computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, biology, chemistry, ecology, and other technical or natural science fields);
• demonstrate high academic performance;
• need financial support.
Preference will be given to:
• to the families of the deceased;
• missing persons;
• persons with disabilities as a result of war.
Important: the scholarship is provided to students who are in Ukraine throughout the entire scholarship payment period.
How to enter the competition?

2. Add a motivation letter (up to 500 words) and an essay (up to 400 words);
3. Add a document confirming the status of the father/mother (for example: certificate of a combatant, extract from the register of the dead or missing).
