Valentyna Yakubiv, Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, participated in Forbes University 2026.
The event became a platform for professional dialogue between representatives of education and business about the development of human potential, training of specialists, and the transformation of universities in accordance with modern challenges.
As part of the event, the rector spoke in the “Afterword” section, where she presented key conclusions from the discussions and outlined ideas important for the further development of Ukrainian universities. Valentyna Yakubiv paid special attention to rethinking cooperation between universities and employers. Today, it should go far beyond internships and further employment of graduates. This includes joint design of educational programs, implementation of applied research, creation of innovative spaces, support for student entrepreneurship, and implementation of technological solutions.
This format allows universities to respond to changes more quickly, and companies to directly participate in the formation of competent and responsible specialists. Participation in Forbes University 2026 opened up new opportunities for the exchange of management experience, the search for partners, and the implementation of modern approaches at Carpathian University.
