Ceremonies to commemorate the heroes of the Heavenly Hundred will be held at the Precarpathian University

On February 21 at 11:55 a.m., ceremonies will be held near the university monument to students and teachers who died in the fight for Ukraine’s Independence to honor the memory of the heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.

The event includes laying flowers at the memorial obelisk of Roman Huryk, a speech by the acting rector of the university, Igor Tsependa, a speech by relatives, and a musical performance of patriotic works.

We will always remember the people who died for our future, so that we could live in a free independent country, because as of today, 58 students and graduates of our university have given their lives for our independence in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

We invite you to jointly honor the bright memory of Roman Huryk and all those who gave their lives for the victory in this cruel and unjust war with a moment of silence.
