Teachers of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University participated in the 22nd annual international scientific conference “International Order in Transition: Implications for Central and Eastern Europe” , which took place in Warsaw. The scientific forum was organized by the Center for Eastern European Studies of the University of Warsaw.
The event was attended by representatives of the university: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work of the Faculty of Pedagogy Natalia Sabat , Assistant Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations Yana Kotnevych , and Assistant, Senior Laboratory Assistant of the Department of International Relations of the same faculty Yulia Bogachyk-Didovych .
Over the course of three days, the conference participants discussed pressing challenges in international security, politics, and social development. The program featured speeches by leading world experts, scholars, diplomats, and analysts on the issues of ending the Russian-Ukrainian war and its long-term consequences, strengthening security on NATO’s eastern flank, countering disinformation and hybrid threats, as well as preserving cultural heritage and ensuring social resilience in times of war.
Representatives of Carpathian University joined panel discussions, took part in professional discussions with international colleagues, exchanged experiences, and discussed prospects for further academic and scientific cooperation.
Participation in international conferences of this level is an important component of the development of the international activities of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, contributes to the strengthening of professional contacts, the expansion of scientific partnerships, and the integration of the university community into the European research space.
