Dear teachers, scientists, employees, students, graduate students, graduates and friends of the university!
We sincerely congratulate you on one of the most important public holidays – Constitution Day of Ukraine!
June 28, 1996 became a significant date in the history of our state. It was on this day that the Constitution of Ukraine was adopted – the Basic Law, which consolidated the sovereignty and independence of our state, defined the fundamental rights and freedoms of man and citizen, the principles of democracy, the rule of law and justice. For 30 years, the Constitution has remained the legal basis of Ukrainian statehood and a guide for the development of a free society.
Today, in the conditions of a full-scale war, the value of constitutional principles is felt especially acutely. The right to freedom, human dignity, independence, peaceful life, and the opportunity to build a future in their own state are the values that the Ukrainian people defend every day at the cost of incredible courage and self-sacrifice.
For the university community, the Constitution of Ukraine is not only a legal document, but also a symbol of responsibility, academic freedom, equality of opportunity, respect for human dignity, the right to education, scientific research, and free development of the individual.
For the university community, the Constitution of Ukraine is not only a legal document, but also a symbol of responsibility, academic freedom, equality of opportunity, respect for human dignity, the right to education, scientific research and free development of the individual. These principles are the basis of the activities of our university, which is called not only to transfer knowledge, but also to educate conscious citizens who are able to think critically, act responsibly and work for the development of a democratic, legal and European Ukraine. We are convinced that high-quality education, science, innovation and active civic position are important components of strengthening statehood, establishing the rule of law and shaping the successful future of our country.
Today, we express our special gratitude to our Defenders, who courageously defend Ukraine, upholding not only its territorial integrity, but also the right of the Ukrainian people to live in a free, independent, democratic state. It is thanks to their courage that we have the opportunity to study, work, conduct scientific research, implement educational and international projects, and build the future of Ukraine.
May the Constitution of Ukraine continue to be a solid foundation for the development of a legal state, social harmony and national unity. May respect for the law, responsibility, mutual understanding and love for the Motherland inspire each of us to good deeds, new achievements and service to Ukraine.
We wish the entire university family good health, prosperity, inspiration, professional success, peaceful skies, unwavering faith in Victory, and confidence in the bright future of our state.
Happy Constitution Day of Ukraine!
